How to convert HEIC to JPG on Windows (free, no software)

Why your iPhone photos are HEIC
iPhones save photos as HEIC to save space. Windows often can't open them without an extra paid extension.
The quick fix
- Open ConvertPics HEIC to JPG.
- Drop your HEIC photo in.
- Click Convert to JPG and download.
Your photo is converted inside your browser, so it never gets uploaded anywhere.
Stop it happening again
On your iPhone go to Settings > Camera > Formats and choose Most Compatible. New photos will save as JPG.
